Surroundings

Montenegro is a land of contrasts and natural beauties. Beside the high mountain peaks and canyons through which run the purest rivers, there is the Adriatic Sea.

The Montenegrin coast is rich in numerous and unique beaches, sandy or gravel, which are one of the sunniest places in Europe. They may be kilometers long or just tens of meters, distant from the place of residence, surrounded by settlements or in front of the hotels. We find them everywhere: in bays, on the rocky shores or behind the pine forests. Some of them offer view to the open sea and the others are secluded and isolated in the coves. One are equipped with the accessories necessary for the pleasant stay while others are wild, isolated, accessed only by small boats.

The climate is Mediterranean; the average air temperature in the summer is 27.4Co, maximum sea temperature is 27.1Co; the average number of sunny days is 240 days per year; bathing season lasts 180 days. The sea is dark blue, transparent, 38-56m. In the South Adriatic live 116 fish species, crabs and shells.
